1. About us



Humify is a global staffing agency specializing in connecting exceptional remote talent with companies around the world. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, service, and excellence in all our operations. Our mission is to create meaningful connections between businesses and professionals, ensuring that each placement supports growth and success for both parties.

At Humify, we believe in fostering professional relationships that go beyond simply filling roles. We are dedicated to providing staffing solutions that are not only efficient but also purposeful, aligning talented professionals with the right opportunities to help companies thrive.

2. Practicalities




a. Signing the contract



You will receive an email to sign your service agreement contract. You are responsible for signing this document. Sign it electronically and return it to us by the specified date. Read the contract carefully and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Before signing, fill in all the blanks on the template (full name, ID number, address, etc., if you still need to). You can upload your handwritten signature or choose a digital signature. 




b. Confidentiality and IP



We take confidentiality and intellectual property rights very seriously. For the security of your company or organization, we send a service contract to each remote worker/function that is part of humify®, in which it is explained that any Intellectual Property (IP) created during the term of the contract is the property of your company/service.  We take the confidentiality status of all parties very seriously, and the terms continue even after the end of your service contract.



c. Payment



Payment will be made upon completion of the work, as per your contract (service contract). 



Payment will be made when all the obligations set out in the contract, e.g., deliveries, have been fulfilled by the remote worker and the customer has confirmed that the quality of the work was sufficient. 

humify® will pay for the services contracted in euros.. Payment will be made within 7 (seven) business working days of delivery and approval of the services by bank deposit into the remote worker's Wise Account.





d. Active and honest communication




Internal communication



Active and honest communication with the internal team is fundamental to the success of any organization. It promotes an environment of trust, collaboration, and transparency, where all members feel valued and involved.

When communication is clear and direct, we avoid misunderstandings, conflicts, rework of tasks, delays in file delivery, and frustrations, allowing problems to be resolved quickly and decisions to be made based on accurate information. Additionally, open communication encourages innovation and the exchange of ideas, which are essential for the company's continuous growth and adaptation.

Therefore, cultivating active and honest communication with the internal team not only strengthens bonds within the organization but also ensures that everyone is aligned with the company's goals and values, contributing to a more harmonious and productive work environment.



Communication between humify®, remote workers, and customers

Efficient and direct communication is essential for the success of any project, especially when it involves remote workers and clients who trust humify®'s expertise. Therefore, all communications must be directed to our team first.

At humify®, we are responsible for the established contract, and we are here to mediate and resolve any issues that may arise. Our team is prepared to handle any situation, ensuring that the needs of both remote workers and clients are met effectively and promptly.

By centralizing communication with us, we avoid misunderstandings, ensure transparency and clarity of information, and maintain efficient control over all project stages. This allows us to address any problems more quickly and accurately, as well as keep all involved parties informed about progress and any necessary changes.

Therefore, we emphasize the importance of keeping communication centralized with humify®. Our mission is to provide a smooth and productive experience for everyone involved, and this is only possible with structured and direct communication. Always count on us to mediate and facilitate all interactions, thus ensuring the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients and remote workers.

In the event of any unforeseen events that make it impossible for you to conclude the contract, we kindly ask you to contact us immediately to resolve it together in the best way.

3. Work tools



Below are some of the main tools that are used internally at humify® and also by our customers.




a. Slack



It is a business communication platform that aims to improve collaboration and communication within teams and organizations. It offers a variety of features to help teams communicate efficiently.



b. Dropbox 



It is a cloud storage service that allows us to store and share documents, photos, videos, and other types of files on remote servers, accessible from any device with an internet connection.




c. Click Up



It is a work management and productivity platform that offers a variety of tools to help teams and individuals organize their tasks, projects, and workflows. It is widely used to improve efficiency, communication, and collaboration in projects and tasks.




d. Google Workspace



We use a wide variety of different applications that Google offers such as Google Drive, Google Calendar, and Google Meet-ups. Please note that we will not provide a personal email address for you. To use Google Workspace, you will need to have your own personal Gmail account. 



 

e. Specific to the Creative Field



  1. Software for graphic or video editing

  2. Adobe Creative® > Photoshop,  Premiere Pro, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Lightroom, Audition, and others.

  3. DaVinci Resolve 

  4. Others



      2. Frame.io > This is our content uploading, revision, and downloading software for the creative    

               field. It allows us to provide creative direction and also download the final work.

g. Humify Network Platform 



Humify Network is a global community dedicated to bringing Remote Workers together for training and empowerment in all spheres of society, utilizing the unique gifts, talents, and visions. By joining our community, you will connect with like-minded individuals who share a passion for making a difference in the marketplace and beyond. Here, you will have the opportunity to engage, learn, and grow in various dynamic ways.

Additionally, Humify Network serves as the internal communication platform for humify®, where we hold our meetings, including Stand Up Meetings.




 h. Important note 



  • It is important to be aware that the company you work for will use other programs. We will work hard to provide tools so that you know how these tools work before you start working. Be prepared to learn new work and organization tools like Monday, Trello, Asana, Dropbox, Frame.io, etc. 

  • Your main point of contact (Manager/supervisor/Director), will advise you on general deadlines, forms of communication, and other possible software you will use with the company you will work for.




4. Policy outline




a. Meetings



For all remote independent contractors, participation in two important meetings is required at  humify®:

  1. Health Checks

  2. Stand-Up Meetings



b. Health Checks



We believe in the health of each independent contractor, and we manage this health and growth through our video call meetings between the independent contractor and the Supervisor. The Supervisor will connect with you and ensure that you are healthy in all aspects of your spiritual and professional life. Only relevant information from these meetings that directly impacts your health and performance will be presented and shared with the Customers you are working with, to align expectations and build a pleasant, rich, and transparent work environment.



Please see the frequency of these mandatory calls: 



  • Full-time independent contractor: Weekly 

  • Part-time independent contractor: Bi-weekly





c. Stand-Up Meetings



It's our weekly meeting held on our Humify Network platform. It's led by our CEO, Ryan Adams, or our COO, Beatriz Canguçu, and other leaders of the company.  

Purpose of the Meeting: Our weekly meeting aims to:

  1. Continuous Team Alignment: Reaffirm our vision and values, ensuring everyone is on the same page.

  2. Values and Skills Development: Application of spiritual and natural principles to be good ambassadors in the job market.

  1. Team Engagement: Strengthen team spirit, promoting a collaborative and participatory environment.

  2. General Guidelines and Announcements: Discuss general matters, provide important guidelines, and communicate relevant updates.



d. Work hours 



As a staffing agency, working with multiple international regulations and policies, we established a universal guideline between Companies or organizations and remote workers.



We ask that you keep track of your working hours. Lunchtime is your time and should not be included in your working hours. If there is a need for overtime work, please communicate with your leader or manager. You may work overtime only with formal authorization and permission from your leadership or the direct manager responsible for your role. 





e. Choosing your work hours

As you may already know, you may work in different time zones during your working hours. To prevent issues and misunderstandings, we ask you to establish a standard period of the day when you will be available to do your work. Having designated work hours will promote and prevent:



  • Miscommunication

  • Missing due dates and timelines 

  • Improve project management 

  • Constancy between the requests and demands  

  • Health Boundaries between work and personal life 

  • Alignment of expectations between the parties  



 » Once the work hours are established and the contract is signed, you should adhere to the agreed-upon work schedule. This condition cannot be changed overnight, as the customer has set a specific work schedule and the remote worker accepted it at the beginning of the contract. If there is a need for a change, immediate communication should be made for the evaluation of possibilities that will ensure satisfaction among the client, humify®, and the remote worker.




f. Days off




As humify®, working with multiple international regulations and policies, we established a universal guideline between companies or organizations and remote workers:



  1. Saturday and Sunday are days when remote workers are “offline”. 

  2. If a remote worker needs a day off, it is up to our client to grant it or not.




  • humify® is not responsible for providing a remote worker to replace your role if you have a day off other than Saturday or Sunday for personal reasons. 

  • You are fully responsible for your work and demands. If you need time off, you will need to communicate with humify® so that we can check with the customer about the possibility of granting it. 

  • When working with companies in the global marketplace, we always strive for transparent communication, friendliness, and common sense.




Paid time off: 



Please remember that in this agreement, the Customer is not obliged to offer you an extra paid day off, so in case you need more than one day or even several business days or weeks, for reasonable matters, please:

» Be prepared to deal with any type of discount on your payment.  (You can ask your questions to the humify® Supervisor or the HR department)



»To request Days Off, it is necessary to fill out a form to formalize this request. You can find this form available in our Humify Network Circle >> MA Dashboard



humify® offices observe the following holidays: 



  1. Christmas Eve 

  2. Christmas Day 

  3. New Years Day 


» humify® does not take responsibility for accepting or rejecting which holidays will be observed, as we work with various countries, cultures, and remote workers, not fixed employees. As a global community, we work hard to communicate to each client which days their specific country observes national holidays. We cannot guarantee that all national holidays in the countries where remote workers provide services will be approved for time off. We work diligently to ensure our clients understand and provide these days off. If there is a national holiday for the company where remote workers provide services, and it is not a national holiday for their own country, our client may also grant them this time off, due to the company not operating. (Please note that companies or organizations are not required to do this).






g. Vacation




Likewise, in the “Day Off” section, we don't offer paid vacation. Usually, most Customers have their vacation periods on Christmas (eve/day) and New Year’s (eve/day).

We strongly advise you to consult your manager about the agreements with your client before planning your vacation. Our goal is to avoid any loss or disadvantage between both parties, maintaining the best and healthiest interests of both sides.

If you need a specific period and several vacation days that differ from the options offered by your client, please contact humify® Internal Team (HR Manager/Supervisor/Account Manager) and discuss the best timing and plan for your vacation:

  1. Request in advance

  2. Fill out the Request Form

  3. Be prepared to deal with any type of deduction in your payment.

h. Sick leave



As a staffing agency, working with multiple international regulations and policies, we established a universal guideline between companies or organizations and remote workers: 



  1. If you cannot work due to being sick for longer than 3 business days, then please be aware that some changes in your pay may occur. All details will be discussed between the Customers and the Account Manager.  


Some other options may occur as well: 



  1. The company or organization pauses or cancels the monthly subscription.

  2. If the company organization both agree on “time off”, humify® can discount the monthly value based on the days the remote worker will be absent for longer than 3 business days. These matters need to be discussed before.


For 1-3 days off from work, contact  humify® Internal Team (HR Manager/Supervisor/Account Manager).

We inform our payroll team every month of sick leave. For a prolonged illness of over 3 days, you will need a doctor’s report.


Currently, humify® doesn’t offer any health care insurance, and for any long-term issue or matter involved in this topic with family and children, you should contact the humify® Internal Team (HR Manager/Supervisor/Account Manager), so we can check with the customer and analyze the best options to preserve the agreement between both parties. 




Please be aware:

• We don't cover any costs involving your health care. 

humify® and the customer are not obligated to continue with your services if you need to go on sick leave, but we will always strive towards communication and understanding. 

• For requesting time off related to sickness, please fill out the specific form for this condition that is available in our Humify Network






i. Maternity leave 



As a staffing agency, working with multiple international regulations and policies, we established a universal guideline between companies or organizations and marketplace missionaries: 




  1. humify® at this time does not offer maternity leave benefits as we are working with contracted workers. 

  2. We do not require companies or organizations to provide maternity packages. 

  3. As we work with kingdom companies and organizations, we encourage the preservation of the universal goal of establishing healthy families.



  1. We do not want to discourage remote workers from having children or building a family with the fear of losing their jobs. 



We provide a simple solution that companies and organizations can choose from, but are not obligated to fulfill. : 



  1. Remote workers train a substitute for the time they will be absent from work. 



  1. This cost is the responsibility of the remote worker. 

  2. During the time of absence, the remote worker will be responsible for paying and checking in with the HR Manager/Supervisor/Account Manager and substitute. The Company or organization, as well as humify®  is not responsible for extra costs. 

  3. Once the remote worker can come back to work, the substitute will step down. 



  1. The company or organization pauses or cancels the monthly subscription.





5. Taxes


You are obligated to fulfill the tax laws that your country requires. As a contracted worker, you are liable for your tax obligations.  

7. Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

We do not sell your personal information. We do not spam. Your data is secure with us.

Information We Collect:


a. You Provide to Us:

  • Name, email, business goals, billing info


b. We Collect Automatically:

  • Site usage, IP address, browser details, and cookies


c. From Third Parties:

  • Matching data from platforms or services used for hiring or onboarding


How We Use It:

  • To deliver services, support clients, send helpful updates, and comply with legal obligations


How We Share It:

  • Only with your consent

  • With trusted vendors for operations (e.g., payment processors)

  • As required by law


Your Rights:

  • Update your info

  • Opt out of marketing

  • Control cookie settings in your browser


We keep your data only as long as needed for service delivery and compliance. You can request deletion or updates at any time by contacting ea@humify.io.

8. Non-Solicitation

The Client agrees not to solicit or directly hire any Humify team members.


9. Disclaimers

Humify does not guarantee specific growth results. We provide tools, support, and creative assets that empower your success, but final outcomes depend on your business context, implementation, and external variables.

10. Modifications

Humify reserves the right to update these terms. We will notify clients of any substantial changes. Continued use of our services constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
