We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, service, and excellence in all our operations. Our mission is to create meaningful connections between businesses and professionals, ensuring that each placement supports growth and success for both parties.
At Humify, we believe in fostering professional relationships that go beyond simply filling roles. We are dedicated to providing staffing solutions that are not only efficient but also purposeful, aligning talented professionals with the right opportunities to help companies thrive.
2. Practicalities
2a. Signing the Terms of Agreement or SOW
Once you have selected your service with us—whether subscription-based or project-based—you will receive an email with the Terms of Agreement or SOW Form for your review and signature.
It is your responsibility to sign the document electronically and return it by the specified deadline. We recommend using electronic signing tools, such as Adobe Fill & Sign, for ease and efficiency. Please ensure that you read the agreement carefully, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions or need further clarification.
Before signing, verify that all necessary fields are completed, including company name, legal entity details, phone number, and address (if they are not pre-filled).
After the Terms of Agreement form has been signed, you will be introduced to your dedicated Humify team. This team will manage your account throughout the duration of the contract.
Roles and Responsibilities
Account Manager:
Manages client relationships.
Oversees payments and invoices.
Handles service contracts and agreements.
Conducts regular health check reviews with the client.
Supervises team members assigned to the account.
Manages onboarding and offboarding processes for the client.
Supervisor:
Conducts health checks with remote professionals.
Tracks work progress and performance.
Remote Talent Workers
Remote Talent Workers are responsible for delivering the tasks and services outlined in the agreement between your company and Humify.
2b. Confidentiality and Intellectual Property (IP)
Humify takes confidentiality and intellectual property rights with the utmost seriousness. To ensure the security of your company or organization, a service agreement is signed by each Remote Talent Worker involved, clearly stating that any Intellectual Property (IP) created during the term of the agreement is the property of your company or service.
This confidentiality agreement remains in effect throughout the contract and continues even after the service agreement has ended.
2c. Invoice/Payment
Invoices are issued on the 5th business day before the end of each month or project completion date. The invoice will include a payment link for the services rendered by the assigned Remote Talent Worker.
Humify will ensure that the Remote Talent Worker is paid before the end of each month.
Important Notes:
After receiving the invoice/payment link, you will have 5 business days to complete the payment. After this period, a 2.5% late fee will be applied daily.
Remote Talent Workers will not receive payment until the company settles the invoice. If payment is not made, the Remote Talent Worker is not obligated to continue working.
Remote Talent Workers are contracted through Humify, and any payments, including bonuses or profit-sharing, must be made directly to Humify. Payments made outside this process are not permitted.
Humify will handle all fees and tax deductions related to these transactions, ensuring no additional loss to either party.
2d. Active and Honest Communication
To ensure a successful partnership, we emphasize the importance of maintaining continuous and clear communication between you and your assigned Humify Account Manager. This ensures smooth collaboration and timely updates through designated communication channels.
We request that all matters regarding contracts, payments, and other agreements remain between the employer and Humify. For any private or sensitive topics, please communicate directly with your Account Manager.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances that may prevent you from fulfilling the contract, we ask that you contact us immediately. This allows us to work together to find the best possible solution to address the situation.
If you have any doubts or questions at any time, please do not hesitate to reach out to your Humify Account Manager.
Subscription Cancellations:
If you wish to cancel your subscription, we kindly ask for at least 30 days' notice. This ensures that we can properly organize offboarding and maintain a smooth partnership throughout the cancellation process.
Communication Methods:
Email: We will send reminders, payment links, and invoices via email.
3. Work Tools
Please note that it is the responsibility of your company to provide access to any additional platforms, software, or tools necessary for the Remote Talent Worker to perform tasks, complete projects, or deliver services. Humify is not responsible for supplying any additional programs or tools beyond those we currently use for communication and training purposes.
While Remote Talent Workers will acquire a range of soft and hard skills through Humify’s training network, some tools or programs specific to your company may require additional training, which would be your company’s responsibility to provide if not offered within the Humify network.
Basic tools such as:
Slack
Dropbox
Google Workspace
Frame.io
Asana
ClickUp
Adobe products
These tools are regularly offered through training provided by the Humify network, and we continue to expand our capacity to train remote professionals on the industry’s leading software and platforms.
Note: If you have humify TEAMS as your service then we will provide ClickUp, Dropbox, and Frame.io free of charge. Customers are resposnable for their own seat inside of Slack.
Humify develops ClickUp workspaces that are the IP of Humify. If the customer decides not to continue with humify TEAMS services, the workspace will be archived and unacessable for the customer.
4. Policy Outline
4a. Work Hours and Time Zones
As a global staffing agency and TEAM builders, we collaborate with professionals across various international time zones. To avoid miscommunication or delays, clear expectations regarding work hours and time zones will be established before any contracts are signed.
Scenario 1: Standard 40-Hour Workweek
40 hours per week (Monday-Friday):
36 hours dedicated to company work, including a 1-hour lunch break daily.
4 hours reserved for health checks and communication with the Humify Account Manager.
Scenario 2: Part-Time 20-Hour Workweek:
20 hours per week (Monday-Friday):
18 hours dedicated to company work.
2 hours reserved for health checks and communication with the Humify Account Manager.
Work hours and time zones will be clearly defined and agreed upon before the Remote Talent Worker is hired. If at any point adjustments to the established work hours are necessary, the Humify Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact to coordinate these changes.
This ensures that both the customer and the Remote Talent Worker maintain clear expectations and alignment throughout the contract period.
4b. Days Off
As a staffing agency working with professionals across different countries and time zones, we have established universal guidelines regarding days off for Remote Talent Workers.
Saturday and Sunday are considered off days, during which Remote Talent Workers will be offline.
If a Remote Talent Worker requires additional time off beyond weekends, it is at the discretion of the company to approve or deny the request.
Humify is not responsible for providing a replacement worker if a Remote Talent Worker takes time off for personal reasons outside of weekends. Remote Talent Workers are fully responsible for managing their workload and deadlines. If time off is needed, it is their responsibility to communicate directly with the company and resolve any potential impacts on the project. Extra time off is not guaranteed unless mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Since Humify works with a global network of professionals from different countries, we recognize that various national holidays may apply. We encourage Remote Talent Workers to communicate with their Humify Account Manager regarding their country’s national holidays. The Account Manager will coordinate with the company to determine if certain holidays will be observed.
The expectation is that all work is completed on time, and no tasks are left unfinished that could impact the company’s productivity or communication.
4c. Vacation
As a staffing agency working with independent contractors across multiple international regulations and policies, Humify has established a universal guideline regarding vacation time for Remote Talent Workers.
Humify does not provide vacation days as part of its services, as Remote Talent Workers are independent contractors. If a Remote Talent Worker requires time off for vacation, it is their responsibility to communicate directly with the company or organization. We encourage companies to take into consideration the importance of work-life balance when evaluating vacation requests to maintain a healthy and productive working relationship.
If both the company and the Remote Talent Worker agree on vacation time, Humify can adjust the monthly service value to reflect the agreed time off. All such arrangements should be discussed and confirmed in advance via email.
Please note that Humify does not provide substitute workers in the case that a Remote Talent Worker is on vacation.
4d. Sick Leave
As a staffing agency working with independent contractors under various international regulations, Humify has established the following guidelines regarding sick leave for Remote Talent Workers:
In the case of an extended leave of absence due to illness, the company or organization may choose to discount, pause, or cancel the monthly subscription based on the worker's absence.
4e. Maternity Leave
Humify does not offer maternity leave benefits, as Remote Talent Workers are independent contractors. Companies and organizations are not required to provide maternity packages to the workers.
To support Remote Talent Workers during maternity leave without the fear of job loss, Humify offers a flexible approach, allowing the company or organization to choose from the following options:
The Remote Talent Worker can arrange for a substitute to cover their responsibilities during the leave period.
The cost of the substitute is the responsibility of the Remote Talent Worker.
During the leave, the Remote Talent Worker remains responsible for checking in with the Humify Account Manager and the substitute.
The company or Humify will not be responsible for any additional costs related to the substitute.
Once the Remote Talent Worker returns from leave, the substitute will step down.
The company or organization may choose to pause or cancel the subscription during the Remote Talent Worker's maternity leave.
5. Taxes
Humify assumes all tax-related obligations and compliance for Remote Talent Workers contracted to work with your company or organization. This includes handling tax regulations and deductions as applicable in the countries where Humify operates and where the Remote Talent Workers are based.
6. Non-Competition Clause
The Remote Talent Worker acknowledges the competitive nature of the businesses of the Company and its affiliates, and agrees to the following terms:
(I) During the Remote Talent Worker's engagement with the Company, and for 1 year following the conclusion of that engagement, the Remote Talent Worker will not:
a) Engage in any competitive activities with the Company or its affiliates.
b) Induce or attempt to induce customers, business relations, or accounts of the Company or its affiliates to terminate or diminish their contracts or relationships with the Company or its affiliates.
c) Solicit, entice, assist, or induce other employees, agents, or independent contractors to leave the Company or its affiliates, or to terminate their engagements, nor assist competitors of the Company or its affiliates in securing the services of such employees, agents, or independent contractors.
d) Contact any employee of the Company or its affiliates without the express consent of Humify or any intermediary managing the contract.

Humify is not responsible for providing a replacement worker if a Remote Talent Worker takes time off for personal reasons outside of weekends. Remote Talent Workers are fully responsible for managing their workload and deadlines. If time off is needed, it is their responsibility to communicate directly with the company and resolve any potential impacts on the project. Extra time off is not guaranteed unless mutually agreed upon by both parties.
Humify offices observe the following holidays:
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day
New Year's Day
Since Humify works with a global network of professionals from different countries, we recognize that various national holidays may apply. We encourage Remote Talent Workers to communicate with their Humify Account Manager regarding their country’s national holidays. The Account Manager will coordinate with the company to determine if certain holidays will be observed.
The expectation is that all work is completed on time, and no tasks are left unfinished that could impact the company’s productivity or communication.
4c. Vacation
As a staffing agency working with independent contractors across multiple international regulations and policies, Humify has established a universal guideline regarding vacation time for Remote Talent Workers.
Humify does not provide vacation days as part of its services, as Remote Talent Workers are independent contractors. If a Remote Talent Worker requires time off for vacation, it is their responsibility to communicate directly with the company or organization. We encourage companies to take into consideration the importance of work-life balance when evaluating vacation requests to maintain a healthy and productive working relationship.
If both the company and the Remote Talent Worker agree on vacation time, Humify can adjust the monthly service value to reflect the agreed time off. All such arrangements should be discussed and confirmed in advance via email.
Please note that Humify does not provide substitute workers in the case that a Remote Talent Worker is on vacation.
4d. Sick Leave
As a staffing agency working with independent contractors under various international regulations, Humify has established the following guidelines regarding sick leave for Remote Talent Workers:
In the case of an extended leave of absence due to illness, the company or organization may choose to discount, pause, or cancel the monthly subscription based on the worker's absence.
4e. Maternity Leave
Humify does not offer maternity leave benefits, as Remote Talent Workers are independent contractors. Companies and organizations are not required to provide maternity packages to the workers.
To support Remote Talent Workers during maternity leave without the fear of job loss, Humify offers a flexible approach, allowing the company or organization to choose from the following options:
The Remote Talent Worker can arrange for a substitute to cover their responsibilities during the leave period.
The cost of the substitute is the responsibility of the Remote Talent Worker.
During the leave, the Remote Talent Worker remains responsible for checking in with the Humify Account Manager and the substitute.
The company or Humify will not be responsible for any additional costs related to the substitute.
Once the Remote Talent Worker returns from leave, the substitute will step down.
The company or organization may choose to pause or cancel the subscription during the Remote Talent Worker's maternity leave.
5. Taxes
Humify assumes all tax-related obligations and compliance for Remote Talent Workers contracted to work with your company or organization. This includes handling tax regulations and deductions as applicable in the countries where Humify operates and where the Remote Talent Workers are based.
6. Non-Competition Clause
The Remote Talent Worker acknowledges the competitive nature of the businesses of the Company and its affiliates, and agrees to the following terms:
(I) During the Remote Talent Worker's engagement with the Company, and for 1 year following the conclusion of that engagement, the Remote Talent Worker will not:
a) Engage in any competitive activities with the Company or its affiliates.
b) Induce or attempt to induce customers, business relations, or accounts of the Company or its affiliates to terminate or diminish their contracts or relationships with the Company or its affiliates.
c) Solicit, entice, assist, or induce other employees, agents, or independent contractors to leave the Company or its affiliates, or to terminate their engagements, nor assist competitors of the Company or its affiliates in securing the services of such employees, agents, or independent contractors.
d) Contact any employee of the Company or its affiliates without the express consent of Humify or any intermediary managing the contract.
